Sweet Siepa - R.I.P.

I have been holding onto our sad news for a few days, but I suppose I better share it. We lost sweet old Siepa on July 2nd. He was 13 years old, which truly is not that old. But he had been ill, and I am thankful his time suffering was very short and he was able to peacefully pass on his own at home. Siepa was an incredibly loving dog, he was generous, devoted, intelligent, hardworking and as loyal and handsome as anyone could ever ask for. I loved him deeply and miss him so much. But in gratitude, appreciation and respect I set his spirit free, though I’d love to bottle it up and wear it about my neck. Travel handsome boy…run far, run strong…dance among the stars. xoxox

ps there is an album of Siepa photos on our facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/BarkingBrook

Post a video of a Snow Dance, win a dog Sled Tour!

Up here in New Hampshire, the dog sled tour teams are on hiatus. The weather is doing it’s typical December tease: snow rain ice! we need real snow, and soon! Lots of stockings were stuffed with dog sled tour gift certificates from Barking Brook Dog Sled Adventures, llc. We have to carry out Santa’s wishes and provide these tours! But we need snow!

So our challenge is this: be brave, be creative, change tonights weather!!! Video yourself doing a snow dance, post it on BBSDA llc’s facebook page. Win a Shush Mush Tour! This is our BEST and most fun dog sled tour. This tour takes you deep into the White Mountains, to gorgeous places with a gorgeous and cuddly dog sled team.

If we have multiple posts of snow dance videos, and the weather does truly change to SNOW, we will have Angus choose the winner.

Who is Angus…stay tuned to find out…he is Not A Sled Dog…but he is a Good Dog.
